I Love Making Things by Hand
It’s already September. Where did the summer go?
I’m already busy making stuff to sell for our annual Pasado’s Safe Haven Drive at Studio 904 (mark your calendar for Sunday, December 5, 2015). I committed to making a large number of hand-made crafts but found it was almost impossible to make them in large quantities. So I decided to create a system.
Here’s how I made 100 hand-made water colored Angel cards in a few weeks.
1) First, I set aside 1 hour per day to work on this project. I did them whenever I could but my goal was to give 1 hour total time.
2) I created a mini assembly line set-up in my craft room. The only difference is that I was the only worker in this assembly line… ha, ha.
Even though it was a lot of work I enjoyed every minute of it. Click on the images below to see how the cards were made.
